Dr. Caroline Schier is a board certified medical doctor (MD), licensed to practice medicine in the state of Oregon and therefore qualified to serve as an Attending Physician to sign OMMP Attending Physician's Statements (in appropriate cases, following a physical exam) for patients with OMMP qualifying conditions.
Dr. Schier's primary practice focuses on integrative/functional medicine consultations, optimizing environment, lifestyle, mindset, and nutrition to help patients prevent and resolve chronic health conditions, and she will be happy to share more information with you if your desire. In the interest of best serving her patients, she has sought out continuing medical education (CME) on the topic of medical cannabis, and she recognizes that cannabis can be a helpful adjunctive therapy (though not necessarily a panacea) for patients with debilitating medical conditions. She is therefore open to assessing patients with qualifying conditions for the OMMP program.
Visit fees depend on whether you are prepared to share recent medical records (from within the past 3 years) from your primary medical provider(s) that clearly support your qualifying diagnosis. Additional fees may apply if you need us to obtain your medical records or if you have not been previously or recently evaluated by a medical professional.
